Conscious Eating
You remember your Mother telling you "think before you speak."  You should also think before you eat.  That's what conscious eating is all about. 

Michelle May, MD. designed a program called "Am I Hungry"  and has a blog called "Eat What You Love, Love What you Eat."  Both develop her idea of mindful eating.

Dr. May's programs are geared to weight loss, but they can be tailored to nutrition.

Are you writing in your food journal?   See if your food choices are helping you achieve your goal of nutritious eating.  If not, make adjustments in your eating behaviors.  That's what conscious eating is all about.
